I need a hurst shifter expert here, I have a late model muncie (I think) and went to put standard hurst comp + shifter arms on it and the rectangular slot that fits over the tranny shafts is to small/narrow and the bolt to bolt them on is too wide to fit through the slot in the arm (confused enough now.?) I thought the Hurst/Chevy arms were universal, but I guess not. Anyway, any information is appreciated and if anybody has a couple of these laying around, I'm buying, Thx

The arms you are using are for 1968 and down which uses the stud with a nut to attach the arm. Later style uses a bolt to attach the arm. Check to see all the connections are the same. Sometimes people just change the side cover for whatever reason. If you can tell me more about your application, I might have arms that will work. Also Summit carries replacement arms and you can check them out online.

There are different shift levers for different body styles, so knowing what your working on will help... All Hurst rods, levers, and mounting plates have part numbers stamped into them, what do you have??? Crash

You need shift levers 105-7058 and 105-7060, which are the bolt on levers that match your stud style levers... Hope this helps... Crash
