Our thoughts and prayers go out to Sean Taylor and his family. Sean was murdered in his home in front of his family while trying to defend them early Monday morning in Miami. He was 24 years old and in the prime of his life and his career as well. He leaves behind a 18 month baby daughter and a loving family. This is truly a senseless tragedy.

Rest In Peace Sean.

he lives the next street over from me, I have to go by his house to get out of my neighborhood, I can see his house from my front yard... it's been a media circus for 2 days, there's a LOT more to this story as I have a immediate family member who is a lead crime scene investigator on this case.

I seen on the news he was waving a gun around at his neighbors a while back. Was he aiming at you by any chance? I would bet there is a whole lot more to the story!

He was a 24 year old man who had some minor transgressions at the start of his career but in the last two years really turned it all around. Who at the age of 20-21 didn't do some things that were not that well thought out? It's a shame to lose such a gifted person. He leaves behind a 18 month baby girl, a loving fiancee who was his high school sweetheart, a loving family and the football community that loved to watch him on the field.

I wouldn't read too much into his bad boy image..... he had done TONS to improve his image and attitude, he was a quiet neighbor that had some questionable *guests* from time to time... the cold side of the case is thinking that this was NOT a hit, but a burglar that didn't finish the job a week ago on first attempt. There WERE 2 assailants in the house. I guess we'll see down the road what's true. Still seems pretty senseless...

Earlier this afternoon three men, 17, 19 and 26 years old were detained for questioning in the murder of Sean Taylor. It appears one of the three had been heard bragging about the murder. They are all from Miami but took off to Fort Myers where they were detained. Perhaps Buizilla has some info from the local media down that way. It does appear that they were going into the house looking for the safe and it was a random break-in.

Let's hope these are the guys and justice can be swift.
