I was going to help you out until I saw the wisecrack about green cars! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif I'm the proud new owner of a 1970 RAIV 4 sp, 4.33 GTO. Right now it's black on black, but it was originally PEPPER GREEN and that's what it's going to be again when it't repainted!

Allright...if you're looking for a 70 GTO, they're all over E-bay, and you should also check performanceyears.com and classicalpontiac.com. Of course, the green cars are usually faster than the rest of the herd, but to each his own... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You also may want to post more details (i.e., price range, options, etc) on what you're looking for; "nice" and "not green" is a pretty big range.

Good luck,

Scott

Scott,

I actually had a 1970 Pepper Green Judge a few years ago that was painted Orbit Orange. I'll keep looking http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Danny - if you run across any green cars, RAIII/RAIV cars, or any other interesting Pontiacs that you're going to pass on, please let me know; I've always got room for another.

I see you're in Dallas. I'm overseas right now, but stationed at Ft Hood, and will be home next month. Love those rust free Texas cars.

I do have a black '69 4 sp car (originally Palladium Silver, blk/blk vinyl, 350 hp car, now with 428) that I would trade or sell if I found something else. It's in driver condition, needs paint. PM me if interested.

Thanks,

Scott

Rich,

I'm looking for a very nice driver and will not pay crazy money for the car. I wish I had the money for the Ram Air IV but I'm a small fish in a big pond :-)

Realistically, I'll go as high as $40K for a very nice coupe.

Danny -

You can get a RAIV car for less than $40k, but would be a project car or missing original drivetrain. Check classicalpontiac.com; there's a complete and matching #s one there now for $30's, but, again, it's a project, and not a great color (gold).

You can certainly get a gorgeous '70 GTO for $40k; might be able to find a nice RAIII car, too, but don't see those up for sale too often.

Good luck,

Scott

Keep looking around your local car shows and AutoTraders and you will find what your looking for. I would rather direct you, then charger you.. That car should be easy for you! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks. I think I've found one in Virginia. I'm really looking for a show quality restored car and will pay a fair price. I'm not a Barrett-Jackson groupie :-)
