Looks like our midwest brothers and sisters are getting hit pretty hard this morning? We have about an inch of snow here in Souderton,Pa. Looks like more to come. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif

I was driving around yesterday about 1 hour after it started. Roads were really bad. At one point my Outback was doing 40 mph and I wasn't moving. Lots of people getting stuck going up hills. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

Right now its in the low 40s and supposed to start snowing again around 5pm.

We were setting in tree stands yesterday deer hunting in that mess. Snows fine, but when your cloths creak from the ice buildup, it's not much fun. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif

At 3am it wasnt much fun around here driving home. With a quarter inch of snow on the ground, my car was sliding pretty good. And I know what you are thinking. NO I was not coming home from last call. I was at the little ladies house and fell asleep!

I'm sure that 75* weather wont last up there. All you need is a good blast of air from our Northern neighbors and you will need a flouresent orange ball.

Tom, have you ever been up to the Lake Placid area? My Wife and I went up there this past summer for vacation. Very beautiful area but they say can be brutal in the winter..

Yes we are watching! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif Its called the Tommy watch. Give him credit for driving that silver nova. I believe Tom is one of those closet car drivers. He drives his stuff but doesn't tell. I bet he thinks that if people see him driving those novas they will think that they are not as nice as them seem. His ratings will be in the toilet just like his show attendence. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

Yep, so much for "it never snows in December anymore..." Went by the new house late this afternoon to see how far along they got with the framing last week. Sure wish they had got the roof on before this storm!

Same here as AlsV8...friggin ice was like 1/2" thick on the w'shld this morning and the rain killing the great snowfall conditions..
Did a few laps on one of the kids' sleds yesterday...felt good but need to fire up one of the vintage monsters and clean out my eardrums also breathe in some good ol' two-stroke fumes...ahhh!.

Typical goofy a$$ Midwest weather here. Saturday morning it was about 45° and rainy. I took the dogs out Saturday night around 10:30 and the temp had risen to 60°. Sunday morning it started back down. Actually fell over 20° in an hour around noon. The next few days we're looking at highs in the lower 30s and lows in the mid 20s. Brought the brass monkeys in last night.
Knock wood; we've avoided any snow accumulation so far. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I was out getting diapers for the grandson about 8:30 today and man I can't believe how bad the weather got in about 20 minutes. Souderton, Pa. is shutting down. This weather sent to us by Cumby and Company http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif is killin us! Thank the guys from the Midwest. I knew there was somethin, somethin, about those boys out there. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif No this http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif today! Roads are REAL bad here.

I hope you don't get what hit us. Still fighting power outages in the town where I work. Not as bad as Oklahoma City, but bad enough. Melting a lot today; enough that you don't wanna be walking under trees or power lines. Large chunks of ice falling everywhere.

Be careful out there!

Put the chains on them redlines and get to it! Or break out the studded snow tires! Come on now, that's what they did back in your day! I wonder if the traction compound option would have been in good use for a day like today???? Who has the option on a Camaro to test it out?
