Just keep an extra windshield or 2 around !!! Did these come with a 3 speed ?? cool car

Chevelles got the HD 3 speed on the floor when the Muncie wasn't ordered. You would think that the L79 would get something similar. Those column shifters were even worse than the floor units for locking up. There is a local guy with a clone L79 for sale. Built from a mint car.
