Although I very rarely post a link to one of my cars for sale, I just listed my "Mr. Norm's" Daytona on eBay. Thought it might be of interest to SYC members, after all, Mr. Norm was the only Supercar dealer for Mopar guys! Sorry for the self-serving post http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Here is the link:

Thanks Guys - I happen to like it a lot myself!
The pic with the girls is a promo shot done by Mr. Norm, with this car, in 1969. Cool, huh? At least the car still looks as good as it did back then...the girls I bet "not so much" http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I have to give thanks to Karl and Mark who did such a great job restoring it. True car guys who go the extra mile and turn out world-class quality. I've been around a lot of super high-end restos and I don't think anybody would argue that this is a true #1 condition car. Most people under estimate what it takes to bring a car to this level. The leap from a #2 car to a #1 car is significant, or, about an extra 800 hours of labor during a resto! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif
And Stuart, I do have a Chevy that looks like this - but you can't have it! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif Don't worry, we'll find you a '68 somewhere http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks guys- it is an awesome car!
Funny thing is, 3 SYC "Chevy Guys" are bidding on it! I never knew there were so many closet Mopar fans on this site. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Hopefully this gem will end up in another good SYC member garage when it leaves mine http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Now, as for the auction:
9400+ page views. 268 "watchers". 3 SYC Member bidders. A little over 2 days to go. To make things interesting, I just lowered the Buy it Now price by $25k. You'll never see a better quality wing car than this one, not to mention it being the ONLY Mr. Norm's car sold with incredible history.
Don't be shy, Mopars make for a great holiday present http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

If you really wanted to infuse us with the holiday spirit you would reduce the buy it now price to 150K. It has been said it is better to give then to receive. I for one am not feeling any love or jolliness from Milwaukee out here this season??

Spoken like a guy who just got outbid, Les http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Just bid again, and if you win, I'll throw in a nice big bow and a santa hat so you can try to convince your wife you bought it for her! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif
