Last year Don Yenko, this year Fred Gibb being inducted into the York US30 Legion of Honor really makes a statement about how important these two gentlemen were in the development and promotion of Chevrolet powered musclecars. Truly both were visionaries. To have the power, and no doubt persistence, to convince Chevrolet to develop such cars, and to be willing to sacrifice everything in the belief that these “special” cars would sell is mind-boggling. I was a little jealous as I received a phone call at midnight last night that she was entertaining 8 guys wearing yellow hard hats and rubber boots in her yard having a party with chain saws and bucket trucks (4) celebrating the restoration of power back to her house.
