Attention any Gibb sold/raced cars. The York US 30 show July 11/12th 08' will induct Fred Gibb Chevrolet/and the Gibb Family into the York Legon of Honor. I would like to see as many Gibb cars as possible at this show in Helens honor. This is a once in a lifetime event, one any Gibb owner should be a part of. Please consider attending this special weekend. Please PM me with any and all questions...BKH http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif

PM sent regarding K De W...
Last year Don Yenko, this year Fred Gibb being inducted into the York US30 Legion of Honor really makes a statement about how important these two gentlemen were in the development and promotion of Chevrolet powered musclecars. Truly both were visionaries. To have the power, and no doubt persistence, to convince Chevrolet to develop such cars, and to be willing to sacrifice everything in the belief that these “special” cars would sell is mind-boggling. It is one thing to do a few engine swaps, where one could pull the plug at any time, but a whole different animal when you sign on the dotted line for 50 such vehicles. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif
Congratulations to Helen and Nancy for receiving the much-deserved recognition for their tireless efforts in promoting the Fred Gibb Chevrolet name.

Couldn't happen to a nicer gal....this will be a great tribute to the Gibb legacy. Last summer they were inducted into the National Nostalgic Nova Hall of Fame at the Nats...glad to see the US30 recognition, it is well deserved. I will be there for this event!!!

That's very nice & well deserved. Helen & Nancy are terrific!
I hope Ray & Kim get to go as well. Both of them deserve some kudos for their part in promoting the Gibb legacy. I might not have bought my 1st Gibb Nova if it hadn't been for those guys offering to share their knowledge. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif

Helen and Nancy are indeed True Ambassadors of our sport and I feel honored to know both of them and I consider them true friends.
There could not be two more deserving (and humble) people and it is great to see the recognition for all of their efforts in keeping the Gibb name and Legacy alive.
