What is the consensus opinion on these two rare cars? I feel as though they have run through the system before but I could be wrong. A lot of the other cars up for sale look like familiar faces. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Didnt that black ls6 ragtop do around 120K on ebay. Peanuts for a factory "buildsheet" ls6 car in that condition. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

If its real $120 is more than a steal
need to see the build sheet up close and personal
and to see if it has repro parts or real orig parts.
and a few other things before you can give an opinion.
Nice car. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

If this is the car that's from southern Florida, and I believe it is, this car has been discussed at length over at Team Chevelle and the paperwork that I was shown on that car was fake.
Car has run on eBay many times.

[/ QUOTE ] I know that Mecum or any other auction house cant police every car that is for sale, but if i showed up at the auction as a potential bidder based on the description of the car in the Mecum ad,id probably be a bit upset when i got there and found that out

While I have seen that RA IV before on the market, I do not remember seeing it at Mecum.

nice chevelle. where is the smog pump, wrong radiator cap, looks like incorrect master cylinder, battery cables wrong, just a few things that i saw, maybe thats why it is priced accordingly.

That Chevelle has been on Ebay quite a few times over the last year or two. The name of the "appraisal" company would make me think twice about the car. NON YA BUSINESS, INC.

The fake buildsheet for this LS6 appeared in the early ads for this car but was later removed and later ads (including the Mecum one) only reference that the car has one. This fake buildsheet was done quite well but had a few things that were incorrect and could well be overlooked by a potential buyer.

I've never gotten an appraisal on a vehicle, but that one sure reads a lot like a for sale ad.

GUys , I'm 95% Positive that is the "Fake Car" "VERY VERY GOOD Fake Buildsheet" One that was sold out of Florida about a year and 1/2 ago. I had him email me a copy of the Buildsheet and VIN # if anyone wants to checkout what it is. Might save a plane ticket or 2 ????

FWIW, there was a car advertised as an LS6 car, triple black/white stripe in the Turkey Run car corral in Daytona over thanksgiving. Car had $9xk on the windshield and was sold friday A.M.
It was definitely a dealer car and was locked-up so I couldn't get a good look at it.

It sure looked like this car, unfortunately the car corral was full of clones so who knows. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
