I have about 60 pics posted here on sYc in my photo album (http://www.yenko.net/photos/showgallery.php/cat/500/page/1/perpage/12/ppuser/3398/what/allfields). I also have an additional 200 pics of the car on file (CD) as it progressed thru restoration.

I know Al...I get ansy...wish I could afford to have a few in the stall, but at this stage its only one at a time. And, one thing I learned from having this trailer queen - the thing I like most about these cars is actually driving them...and not being able to do has left me feeling like I need something else...we'll see how it pans out...I'm in no hurry. I figured I would shake the tree and see what falls...worst case, I just out and out sell the Camaro this summer, and do another restoration - this time with a 57.
Hope you guys had a great Christmas Al...my best to the Galdi's!

Again Lee, "A great car". I would be careful and drive it. I know trailer queens are NOT for me so no matter what I had I would be destined to drive it. Hey, its only money a little sheetmetal and some paint! Drive it, its a great car! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

Sam:

You're probably right...I should just drive the thing....but man, its hard to bring yourself to drive a car that is done "factory perfect" underneath with all the right marks/dabs, and smuges...
Something to think about for sure... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Drive it! The original owner drove it when he picked it up. I bet if you drive that car on occasion Lee you will NEVER part with it. Over the winter you can jack it up and clean the undercarriage off from the road dust. It ill give you something to do. Anyhow it may kill you after you sell it and you see the next owner driving it a little like you should have done! JMO Lee. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif Just to nice a car to sell because you want something to drive. Marlin drives his Deuce!! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

This sounds like a Marlin vs. Phil Borris conversation! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Just drive it, a little dust won't kill it. It will deteriorate whether it's sitting in a cocoon, or cruising down the road - which option is more fun??

You are out numbered Lee. Besides if you do sell the car and get a 57 Chevy I guess you will skimp and cut corners on the quality of the resto just so you can drive it and not feel bad??!! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hmmm.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hmmm.gif Doubt it. These cars are made to be driven whether a ZL-1 or just an old 69 Z/28. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Lee, keep the Camaro or sell it out right then go look for the next car. I have traded a couple of cars in the recent past and I regretted it both times. I can tell you from my experience that I would drive the trailer queen because whatever you buy, you will end up making improvements anyways. Once you have been exposed to having a car of this caliber it is hard to go backwards.
