Just a heads up for other members to prevent you from losing any money on an inspection or purchase of this car. I had it inspected 2 weeks ago and it is not an original panel car, has a bad restamped motor and grew a POP at some point this year...

Don't know much about Camaros, except what Sammy tells me http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif...but, I would have to think a real L78 #'s 67 car would be worth more than $60K http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hmmm.gif

...glad I bought Novas...wilma http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

Hylton looked at the car for me and sent me some very good pics of the issues. It is a nice car, but no where near as nice as described. Numerous scratches on the fenders where the hood is rubbing on both sides, rust starting to show in the seams of the fender extensions, filler in the the trunk lip, driver quality undercarriage, missing the expensive stuff like the clutch fan, carb, intake, distributor, etc. I wasn't paying anywhere near $60K for the car and it still wasn't a fair deal in my opinion.

Wilmasboy: '67 L78's do not have a real strong following and therefore don't bring very good money for the most part. I'd say a number one, original drivetrain car would be in the $65K - $75K range. The last nice number 2 original motor car that sold publicly went for $47,500 this year...
