Did any of the late production 69 Camaros get "c" coded rear. ie: CBT for 3:55. These were codes for a 70 Nova.?
I have heard of this occuring. If the rear cast date and assembly date precede the car's build date, it certainly seems logical.

From what I have heard "technically" the "c" indicated a change for the 70 model year, but the 69 Camaro model year was extended in to the 70 model year, so who knows for sure

There were 69 camaros that were titled as 70s due to the late introduction of the redesigned camaro. I believe there were some labor issues at the time also. It would not surprise me at all to see a 3 digit stamp on the tube.

Yes, the 70 Nova also used those same codes.
And the title can say anything on it, people add Z28, etc all the time to the title. But the VIN's were all for 69.
