FYI,that intake is not usable without the correct tall tach drive dist.I sold one a few years ago.It was made for the shortdeck 303 block. If used on a std deck block it will need spacers and then will still need to deal with the dist problem.Tom

the SCCA 303 engine was a special short deck engine. They only built 25 of them and were not allowed to race. The factory then made a std deck long rod 303 which was a dog as a RA V and not a lot better as a IV.If you do a yahoo search for tom schlauch you can see a article about the engine and the car it is in.I have a spare 366CI 303 based engine and the X ram and the dist.Tom

they only made a handfull of the X ram intakes as a single 4 was required in 1970.There were NO engines ever built by the factory with the X rams with all the research I have done. That is only the second RA IV I have seen and only 3 of the RA Vs and only 3 dist.Tom

Wow...Only a handful made??? I did not know it was that rare....

For the buyer of this intake, I have actually been contacted by Wayne Guinn, author of "Camaro Umtold Secrets" who says he has some detailed history on this intake...he said for the winning bidder to give him a call if they'd like.

ENDS 9 PM EST TONITE--NO RESERVE!!WINNING BIDDER GETS IT!! GOOD LUCK AND THANKS YENKO.NET
