I thought the L78 wasn't available in the Chevelle until around April or May? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

EX is the right code for a CA smog engine. Its supposed to have a pump. In that case they only made 19!! L78 67 Chevelles for CA. Didn't they build Chevelles in Fremont CA. Why would it come all the way from GA? Frank
