I have a new in the box old style hurst line loc kit that i purchased back in 1979 for my 69 camaro. Box is old but the parts are new, never installed. Box number is 174-4394. Kit includes the solenoid, switch for mounting on the shifter and the red light. Also includes the installation instructions and mounting bolts.
$100.00 plus shipping.
Great for that Day 2 car!
Thanks SYC for the ad.

My Biscayne still has the one originally installed in 1969 and it's chrome. I've never seen a white one. Is the one pictured on SS&DI in color? Black ones are later I think.

Oh man.. I have been referring to my Honest Charley catalogs from 69 and 71.. It looks white but it would help if I read the fine print. "Stick mounted chrome HURST switch". I'm wrong again. Good thing I didn't buy it. Looks like I should spend the $ on a new eyeglass prescription. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Now I am curious when the cut over was. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I'll dig out some old Midwest catalogs tomorrow and look. Are they black and white pictures...maybe chrome is showing white?

Yeah that is it then. All pics I have are B/W so it does look white.

I haven't seen a chrome one for sale for a long time. My switch is good but rubber mounting has went away. I'm afraid to try to disassemble and replace it. Probably do irrepairable damage http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
Edit: Just looked on eBay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MINT-Hurs...tem120216032867 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MINT-Hurst-Shifter-RARE-Line-Loc-chrome-button-1960s_W0QQitemZ120216032867QQcmdZViewItem?hash=ite m120216032867)

I had it bookmarked and was bidding but I bailed a long time before 586.00. I had been looking for a chrome one myself and found the auction before I saw this thread. Guess I will keep looking... Wow http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif
