That I have talked with a couple guys on the phone from this site and they all seem to be pretty good guys! I have talked to Marlin a couple of times, in person, then bbbenny, a guy named Chris, WILMASBOY, and then sc69sam. I think the last two guys have cracked me up the most. You guys kill me! LOL http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif I can't wait to meet some of you guys and maybe share a few http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif with and BS. I know I am young, but I got the bug!

Well, Sam has an awsome survivor small block SS that I want to see very much and Tom has a bezel I bought from him and Marlin is full of Nova knowledge and I sent Benny to a guy Mike near me that has some BB parts. It's all working to everyone's benefit. Thanks SYC!

Gotta relax your requirements a little - those original drivetrain, original condition deuces for $3-$20k are long gone!

I think I've long passed the line, but what's the cutoff point between young and old around here...and does looking young count for anything? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif.

And on Deuces available, whatever happened to the Roof people's original owner car?. Although a bit much for the condition when they posted, it was an original owner car and they seemed like great folks...if still available, they may be more flexible on the amount now?.

The Roof deuce is "visiting" Donahue. The body is currently setting on the rotisserie. It is THE best deuce I've ever seen pre restoration except for maybe the yellow one setting in the garage not to far from it. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I hope to find one one day! I think that I am going to have to make some career changes in the meantime? This being laid off crap is for the birds! Three times in 8 yrs??? COME ON. The construction industry is like a rolly coaster ride. I think I need to finish something I started and get back to the books! A Fathom Blue or Citrus Green will do me just fine. Whomever I am behind in line, I can wait.

Really great it's found a good home also being treated to such a resto!.

Hey jed I am like you young but love the old muscle cars, and I am a huge Nova gUy lookin for the right one. I also have talked on the phone with a few of the guy's or exchanged e-mails and the guys and all are great help to us young pups. I want to get in the yenko line also, but its going to be awhile, unless you find that hidden jem. So I will settle for a nice L78 ( I Hope ) http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Rob, I am happy with just about any Nova, to tell you the truth. Don't tell Marlin or Tom that or Sammy and Benny! I think Sammy might be too busy eating cheesesteaks from Gino's though. LOL There are so many trim options on these cars and so many color choices, that it's endless. Most of the Camaro's are a been there done that seen it type of thing. Not that I don't love them too, but the Nova is the bastard child and the most overlooked Muscle Car. There are a few Color Combos that I have yet to see. When my 70 is done, it is more or less going to be a tribute to my first one. A 71 Nova that is Code 26 26 with the dark blue cloth and vinyl interior. I haven't seen too many of them around. I also found a code 28 25 735 Nova in a yard not too far from me. I am caught up more on the Colors then anything else! I guess that is the body man in me talking though. I could stick a small block or BB in anyone of them and woop up on the street or strip! The Nova has the best power to weight ratio then the Camaro. If you read some of the old articles about Motion or Yenko, they will tell you that the Nova was about the most deadliest car you could have ever stuck a 454 or 427 in! And that was without all the new cams and exhaust. So just ask some of these guys to hammer it with a BB and watch them s&^t their pants! I bet the real honest guys with tell you they threw out a pair or two of underwear. LOL I will stick to a Hi-Po small block. I can't afford too many pairs of underwear.
