Three questions: 69- 396 Chevelle/El Camino

1) What color should the power steering pulley nut be? Natural, black, etc

2) What color should the alternator spacer be? This is the long spacer that slides over the 6" long lower pivot bolt.

3) Should the exhaust manifold bolts use bolts and washers, or the bolts with a shoulder.

Thanks Dan. The power steering is on the build sheet so......
As long as we're lookin at the picture, what is the little clip for, an oil sender wire, and more importantly, where can I get one?

I believe Rick's First Gen sells the oil sender wire clip. All the ps pulleys I've seen for 69 were painted semi gloss black.

Bill,
1)As for the power steering nut, it was painted .
2)The alternator spacer can be natural steel or black.
3)The exhaust manifold bolts are not all shouldered on big blocks. The outboard ports have shouldered bolts and the inboard are non shouldered no washers on any of them.

Thanks for the feedback guys. The engine is in the chassis and getting some of these details right is important.
