Charley, Can I have it ??????????
Looks like 1970 February ??? date
Wheels are hard to find.......but the buying market is no where near the XT market....
Price would depend upon buyer having need for that date, and what other wheels I can find to match yours???????
Show condition of Tire.........
Thanks,

Got a package the other day. I heard of tampering with the mail but did the mailman blast this wheel for me? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif Other than some blue paint I need to spray, looks like a perfect fit to me. Thanks a million Charley. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif
Oh yeah, it was like 2 degrees when I opened the garage for this shot. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif

Now I am wondering how this wheel should be sprayed. I know my car calls for a body colored wheel. But I am not sure if that goes for both sides of the wheel or if the inside is black with overspray. Any help appreciated. Photos even better.

I wouldn't try to remove the tire to paint it, just mask it off.

I was thinking that or just popping it from the bead.

We used to rub vasoline on the tires before painting them 'on the rim'.....made for easy clean up http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Black base color should be painted first....then the blue is painted and blown thru the wheel openings so you see the overspray on the back side of the wheel...other experts may have different thoughts.

Darren,
All you need is four more steel rims and some chevy bow tie baby moon caps? That would look sweet.

I have the spare restored and was cleaning the tire today. I found grease pencil markings on both sides of the tire in the same position. Is this something the factory would do? Or is this a vintage 70 marking from a parking cop?
In the pics you'll see it has fresh Mulsanne Blue on it from Don at NOS Restoration. Thanks Don!
