Where could I find, or does anyone know, the correct casting numbers for the following 1969 Chevelle L35 (396/350hp) engine components?
Alternator
Distributor
Heads
Intake (is this painted or aluminum?)
Also, are the valve covers chrome or orange on the L35?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Ahhh.. I'm confusing myself here. I keep thinking the higher number, the higher HP. L34 is the 396/350hp. Gotcha!

The car will be a 1969 Chevelle, 396/350hp (L34), TH400 transmission. I need early to mid March 1969 dated parts.
I really need a 499 distributor huh? That sucks.

The 499 will cost you more than the entire engine

Yeah I know. I have never used a re stamped part, but this is an instance where I'm going to have to.
We're dropping a date correct JE code L34 and CE code TH400 into my brothers all original 1969 Chevelle 300 Deluxe post car (originally a 6cyl Powerglide). We went with the L34 because it is a factory A/C car. I'll save the original 499's for the real cars!

The Chevelle is Dusk blue with mint blue cloth. It is an original paint car but was hit in the passenger side quarter. The plan is to do a frame/ engine/ trans swap and a repaint. I'll get some photos for you guys.
