Ive had 2 of these and there are alot of diffferences on this car, the most notably the build date. i thought the first KRs were built March April 68,not in 1967 date..Also stamping on tag,does make mention of why he thinks its a double stamp tag but i thought they alweays had sequential shelby # with a dash,and im not familiar with the 8D number stamped in it.. have a customer interested in this but with my limited shelby knowledge everything i see points to it being wrong.Anyone?

Im not a shelby guy either but I thought KR's came out mid year 68'

The car in the Ebay auction is a 1968 Shelby GT500 not a GT500KR. The GT500 has the S-code 428PI engine and would have been built in late 67 or early 68. The KR came out as a mid-year 68 and has the R-code 428CJ engine as the major difference.
