They can be run on the street, I just would avoid getting caught in the rain with them...for obvious reasons. I've never personally done it, but know a few guys that do.

I drove around the LA area on ET Streets a few times (when I had no choice) and wouldn't recommend it.

I had cheater slicks on one time and got into a little rain shower. You would swear that someone had greased the tires. Instant hydroplaning and at very low speed at that. Never tried it again.

55, rust free, black for now, Jim Meyers Racing front sub frame with straight axel and willwood brakes. 427, M22, 4:56, old diamond pleated interior that needs work, ET gasser 10 spokes on the front. I have some pictures, but don't know how to put them on a computer.
Thanks for the responses. I could always carry a set of different tires and wheels in the car for rain. Plenty of room back there!

I got to visit with Tony over the Christmas holidays... that Nomad radiates coolness! It's a neat car as it sits, and a great foundation for his plans.

Of course, I drooled over his Nova for a while too.... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif
