The same display involving the pair of Baldwin Motion cars will also include several rare Camaros including three from the Wayne S. collection (all 4 spd cars with one Olympic gold). Also present will be 2 ZL-1 cars from David B. These will include #'s 3 and 38 (as many of you know, the latter retaining its original drivetrain). There will also be original Trans Am Camaros with Parnelli Jones, Dan Gurney, Sam Posey, George Follmer and John Morton present. Hope some of you can make it. Tremendous thanks to Rich P for securing invites for much of the display. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

A reminder for anyone that can make this event. Feel very fortunate to have a special class for Supercars (rare camaros) at Amelia. I feel this venue is easily on par with Pebble Beach. I was fortunate to get invited since my Chevelle was the "tow vehicle" for a rare Camaro. This is truly a world stage for our cars. March 7th, 8th and 9th-off the coast of northern FL at the Ritz-Carlton. Maybe someone can post a link? Or maybe I should have posted in the events section? Anyway another loading pic from today...

I actually had 2 supercars there in the early 90's from Dick Bridges collection. Its a nice show, but not the typical show a regular musclecar guy goes to. Should be neat to see the 2 Motion cars hooked up.

For those that can be there on Friday, March 7th, FedEx is sponsoring a Road Tour around Amelia Island. The Yenkos, ZL-1's and Baldwin Motion cars will start out lined up outside the Ritz-Carlton at 0900 and take off at 0930. After lunch in Fernandia Beach we'll be coming back at 1300. If you missed us heading out, listen for us on our return http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/headbang.gif Also I've been informed that all show vehicles that participate in this tour will be issued a green ribbon to be displayed during Sunday's show. This tells the judges that the vehicle has participated in the road tour. Then, in case of a tie in the judging, the car with the green ribbon will prevail. This is similar to Pebble Beach and the tour of the Monterey penninsula. No show queens in our display.......

Just back myself from the show. There were many spectacular cars there. Mark's (dreemz) 69 BM Chevelle turned out incredibly well. He won an award with it. Jim L. was there with the fraternal twin BM 69 Camaro, another fabulous car. Finally WayneS rounded out the display with three of his beautiful 69 Yenko Camaros.

The show was great all the way around. A real class act.

It was great to meet Jim, Wayne and Rich. I attended the show with M22Mike (Mike). We took about 600 pictures between the two of us. He will post them later today (if his flight ever leaves Orlando).

Hi Boyz
Ditto to what Phil said.....AWESOME....I just got in to Cleveland Hopkins @ 1300, came home to a soggy wet mess of heavy snow http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
Spent the last 4 Hrs. plowing, yes it sucked, especially after yesterday.
Give me some time here, I will at least get some of the stuff posted starting tommorrow.
I will do two threads, one just for Mark and Jim's two BM cars and the three 69 Yenko Camaro's Wayne brought.
The two ZL1'S were a no show http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
I will also post some shots of the rest of the show too.
The Tran's AM cars were killer http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burnout.gif

This is Phil's driveway that his neighbor cleared out for him.
The snow plows pushed all the snow to one side only, and created a shoulder high wind row.

Here are the first batch of pictures of the two Baldwin Motion cars, Mark's Black Chevelle and Jim L's 69 Motion Camero. This was the first time these two cars have been together in more than 36 years.
And this was the debut of Mark's Black car.
The other three 69 Yenko Camaro's in the display belong to Wayne S "Wesyenko".
These first pictures are early Sunday morning around 0630 taken in the transport lot. Was really cool to watch the car's coming off the transports.
Some of these shots were Phil's "Woj" http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

These were on Saturday, could not resist climbing up the ladder to get the shot of Mark's car on top. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif
