I think no real..... I got one but only paid a few bucks for mine about 5 years ago. I always thought it was some bogus piece someone made up but this one is over a hundred clams....

THIS IS A VERY RARE DEALER PROMO IT WAS PUT ON THE ANTENNA IN THE SHOW ROOM ON THE L79 SS NOVAS . IT IS MADE OF PLASTIC AND IN VERY GOOD CONDITION THIS WOULD MAKE A GREAT ADDITION FOR A COLLECTOR OR AT CAR SHOWS ON YOUR 66-67 NOVA SS 66- L79

[/ QUOTE ]Suspect that if it was "real" it would be fabric. That giant hunk of plastic just screams "80s", at least to me anyway... Notice that he didn't say which dealers used it! It could have come from a "classic car dealer".

I USED THIS ON MY NOVA FOR INDOOR SHOWS ONLY AND IT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION FOR ITS AGE 42 YEARS OLD.

[/ QUOTE ]Read it carefully and you could argue that the description is the Nova's age, and not the flag's.

I HAVE ONLY SEEN ONE OTHER IN THE LAST 15 YEARS !

[/ QUOTE ]Can't help but think that might be true. An admission of when it was actually purchased?? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Ended at $152! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

The guy I got mine from had a box full of them. The decal is very "Vic 20 or commadore 64 ish". The letters are all jagged and squared off. I would like to see a pic of this on a dealers lot in the 60's. I would sell mine but I probably wouldn't be able to sleep well....
