Think of this Chevelle as a full-bodied Sprint car on asphalt. Dubbed "the Chevelle from Hell", this hell cat touts a Jim VanGordon built drysump 502CI Bow-Tie belting out 680 horsepower. If you want a street car that screams 200mph NASCAR on the inside and pro-touring custom on the outside, this one can’t be beat!

Chevelle from Hell on eBay now for $89,995 o.bo., (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?MfcISAPICommand=ViewItem&item=170196 410713) located in San Bernardino, CA, United States.

Just in case you thought it wasn't practical, it IS a two-seater. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The rear bumper is fiberglass, only available in '71/'72 configuration, a trade-off to be sure. The builder chose performance over originality in MANY areas...

I have had a couple of motors that were built by Jim. One LS6 based big block and one high compression DZ302 built for a cross ram. Both motors were well done, fairly priced and made unreal horsepower. I bet this Chevelle scoots.

Thanks for the testimonial Mark. Jim VanGordon is also the builder for all the engines in the Mr. Norm's GSS program. He personally hand builds each motor. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/headbang.gif
