I have a C 13 66 Nova 12 bolt coded FP, figured I would take pictures of the inspection marks that are on this rear in case anyone is doing a Nova restoration now or in the near future.

Great pics! We've found white and/or yellow markings on other Nova rears too. Sometimes the yellow 'X' is on top, sometimes on the bottom. Here's a Deuce rear with a nice yellow 'X' on top.

Marlin,my 68 nova ss 396 car had original paint markings of orange in color on the housing.thanks for the 66 nova ss rearend paint markings;I sure it will help others in their restoration.chris teed
