Looking for a complete smog assy. for a 1969 SS Chevelle L78, does not have to be restored.

Spoke with Bill, deal with him often but I would like to find used and I will restore it myself, 3-4k I feel is a little up there.

Bruce, I was just going to say the same thing. No ones getting a fully restored 100% dated correct GM smog system w all original stamped and numbered parts from any of the smog restorers for 3/4K, unless theyve dropped thier prices 2K since last year.

MacNeish sells the whole set up for less than 2 grand. I don't know how much of it is original GM stuff.

Tony, A real #29297 restored diverter valve and 458DA pulley alone are worth around 1695.00

I just bought a complete system from Bill for my 69Z not more than 2 1/2 years ago for $1350.00,date coded too.Hard to believe they have gone up so much in such a short time.

Bill wants $500 just to restore a diverter valve. the somg pump is the same into the 70s the date codes are where the bracket mounts and can't read when on the car. I have a few with 70 dates.
