There's nothing like fresh paint. I painted a 64 Malibu SS today. Its an original Hawaii car with a 6 cylinder/powerglide. Not a muscle car but cool anyway.

Any extra heater delete plates around? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

Its an original heater delete. The paint came out nice. I painted it right where it sits in the photo. The 2H on the trim tag shows the heater delete option.

918 Azure Aqua... very cool http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
lets see when its polished up.
There is nothing uncool about a 6cyl/PG just keep it in low and enjoy the powerband between 45-50 mph. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

isn't a 5837 a V8 SS ?

though it would not be the first time I have seen the cowl tag indicate V8 and vin says 6cyl

The VIN shows a 6 cylinder. The trim tags always show the V8 code since fisher body was only concerned with drilling the correct holes ect.

That looks nice...I'm jealous.
Does it have buckets with console too?
Is that a 230 cu engine with the chrome accessories?
Wish mine was that clean.

Yes, it has buckets and a console. It is the 230 with chrome accessories. All vacuum lines, trans dip stick, valve cover, etc. are chrome.
