Sam's Famous!

Stopped by my home over lunch and saw that I received my April 2008 issue of Hemmings Muscle Machines. A closer inspection revealed a really neat feature on Sam Griffith's '62 Plymouth! These guys know quality when they see it! Now everyone else gets a look at what we've been fortunate enough to see.

Thanks Abe. Thanks Bruce for the scans. Terry (HMM editor) pulled a bit of a fast one on me. He called me about 6 weeks ago and told me that he wanted Don (photographer) to come out and shoot more shots of the S/S in its race trim (sewer pipe extensions, sans dog dishes, cheater slicks) to update the photos from last fall. So I patiently waited for Don to contact me http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hmmm.gif . I was surprised to see the mag waiting for me in my mailbox (guess the neighbors were wrong about Bruce hanging out to scarf my HMM http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif ). Very pleased that Terry allowed the photo of Gordy and I in the member's profile. Am also very appreciative that he gave me a crack at writing the article.
