Just this minute got a call from Nancy Hilliard. J.D. LeBlanc is in the hospital in Des Moines and doing well after emergency by-pass surgery (7 of 'em) yesterday afternoon.
Nancy said she would keep me posted but that things look good. (He's already asked for a Turkey sandwich! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif)
Sounds like he may be there for three or four more days so if someone in the area could post an address maybe we could fire off some Get Well cards. He's in Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.

Stopped by the hospital Sunday afternoon (March 9th) room # 462 North. J.D. was able to setup and visit. I could tell he was in some pain. He did say that the last couple of days were a little foggy. That was when I reminded him about selling me his ZL1 for only $100. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif He replied...Charlie they operated on my heart not my head. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Well . . I guess that a good sign and points toward a full recovery. Today (Monday) he was alot better and the look on his face told me that most of the pain was gone. He was much easier to talk with and more his old self.

Hope you recover from your tune-up, but wouldn't it be http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif if us older guys could go in for Ground-Up Restorations,,,,,,,

Get well soon. This Ia. weather is gonna give us a little break this week. Maybe 50. Ya don't wanna miss out on that. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif
Thank all of you that posted "well wishes" for me. I was certainly appreciated.
I am still weak and don't fell like being on the computer much.
Hang in there ! Your body will tell you when to push it a little harder. I'm recovering from 5 bypasses on Feb 28. Do what they tell you and walk as much as you can. You'll feel better every day. Good Luck.
