I don't usually do this, but this car is owned by a very good friend, and I am helping him sell the car. He has had some health issues and driving the 62 is difficult. He drives his 2003/54 Corvette now instead. So it's time to move this one along.
GROUND UP RESTORATION WAS COMPLETED IN APRIL, 1998 BY RON'S RESTORATION, FITCHBURG, MA. AS OF JULY, 2000 THIS CORVETTE WAS THE EARLIEST ASSEMBLED 62 ON RECORD WITH NCRS. (#101 AUGUST 16, 1961) IN 2001 THE 62 ALUMINUM GRILLE AND BAR WAS REPLACED WITH A 1960 GRILLE BAR AND TEETH SET BY RON'S. A FULLY RESTORED HARDTOP WAS PURCHASED FROM GLASSWORKS (THE HARDTOP SHOP) IN 2002. (CURRENT VALUE $6,000) DURING 2003 (14,325 MILES) THE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION WERE REBUILT BY KNOX'S GARAGE AND NEW TECH TRANSMISSION. ( COST $5,000 PLUS) INCLUDED IN THE SALE IS THE ORIGINAL WONDER BAR RADIO, RED VALVE COVERS, AND THE 62 ALUMINUM BLACK FINISH GRILLE & BRACKETS. ALSO INCLUDED ARE 4-670/15 TIRES, AND 4 CHROME CRAIGER RIMS WITH TIRES. THE CAR CURRENTLY STANDS ON FIRESTONE 205/75R/15 NARROW WHITEWALLS.

So'Kay,
I was away in Dallas, so I didn't have my computer to answer. The HP is in the Add.
Thanks, It's been a very well cared for Vett and restored by a Great Corvette Guy in Massachusetts. It has taken many awards.

Thanks,
I love the Mags too. It's got both sets of wheels, but the Mags just make it look cool.
Ron's Corvette Restorations in Fitchburg Mass did the Resto. I can not say enough Good about Ron. He and his shop are Fantastic. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/youguysrock.gif
Once when I was stuck up that way for the 4th of July Summer Nationals in Worcester with my 68 L-88, he came to my rescue. Held his shop open for me, and then Would Not Charge Me anything. I finally had to Slip a Few Bucks to his Mechanic and even he fought about taking any money.
They are Stand Up Guys with a World Class Shop and Have done Many Bloomington Gold Cars.
Thanks and I hope the car sells soon to help my friend.

The 62 I am helping my friend sell, is due partly to health reasons as it has become too difficult to drive. Manual Steering and all. He has a 2003 Corvette that was done as a 53/54 Replica. It's RED.
Here is what is replacing the 62, He's having his Z06 Converted below are photos. Just FYI for those who might be interested.

Here's the Z06 Before Conversion
and Below is in the Process of Conversion.

I think there was a vett at Vettefest that was converted sorta like this, just not as old a body conversion I think.

Yes,
they do a 53/54 which is this one,
and also a 1962 conversion.
Modern Vet with an Old Look. It's amazing and very beautiful
when done.
It's done by advanced automotive in Michigan.

Well,
It's Back on the Market. Turns out the buyer was a Little Short on CASH. Let's say about $50,000 short. Anyway,
If anyones interested, here is that 1962 Corvette. Yes we have the Proper 62 Grill for it. It goes with many spare parts, two sets of wheels, as well as the Original 62 Grill. The Owner just liked the look of the 60 Grill.
Thanks http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m62/kuhnrejr/Draginwagon/23099.jpg
