That is pretty cool looking! Darned if the rust don't look real! Bruce you sure do get some neat things, this chevelle model, the garage sale item from GM.Whats next! Good score on that model, now you can start your own model wrecking yard.

Bruce, That's funny! It reminds me of that Napa commercial with Michael Waltrip and the fan has the two die cast cars that are destroyed, one completely and he says "just sign the bigger piece" classic. It looks realistic.

You really had us going there for a minute. I almost thought someone gave the Chevelle a knockout. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif

Pretty cool Bruce. I may have to build a Corvair like that when I get enough time.. The rust really looks real!!!!! With that much rust, it rivals a Corvair!!!! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif
Sorry Kasey http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

It is pictures like these that give us Cleveland guys nightmares. Unfortunately that is what these cars looked like after about 10 years of regular use around here.

Hey Bruce,

It looks like it drove on some salted roads and then sat in a snow bank for a few winters. Very cool.

Yes, it looks like you came to visit here for a month and forgot to bring your "winter" car. You're the big leg puller now Bruce. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

That looks buy the bench seat and headrests it may be a 67 to 69 500 series . unless the seat was swapped in.
cool http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burnout.gif

that is some skill to do that to a model. easier to do it to our cars here in the snow belt, just drive it and let it rust. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Cool model Bruce - It's got to give you the cold sweats sometimes when you look at it!
Now you'll need an after model.
I've seen cars from the east end of the island that look like that.
One time a friend and I were going to look at an El Camino that was just a couple years old and pretty cheap. The car was parked faced out in the driveway in front of the house. As we approached it, it looked pretty good until we got to the back. The owner was a clammer who would carry his catch in wire baskets in the bed. The bed was constantly soaked in sea water, what was left was paper thin and the frame was rotting through!

Wow Glenn...that's crazy!

Though, I do remember cars that looked a lot like this while living in Illinois...and visiting family in Michigan... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif
