Glad to hear your health is better. In you last post you were talking about selling stuff off etc. Now your pulling cars out of the weeds. That sounds like improvement.

Maybe they were after more money. On the other hand when it comes to health, its better to be safe than sorry.

Joey:

My experience is your ready for Stage 5 of a car guys life.

1) Find it
2) Negotiate
3) Buy it
4) Drag it home
5) Come up with a plan

We never seem to do #5 first. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gifEd

My doctor gave me five weeks to live, so I didn't pay the bill. He gave me another 5 weeks.

No offense Joey...but you should have left it there unless someone wants to put 100k into a restoration of a car that is not very popular.

Yes its a wreck thats beyond resto but some people, myself included, like certain cars because they are NOT popular.

looks like a driver with nice patina. get a shiney motor and a new steering wheel and hit cruise night. I like it! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

I've seen people restore worse.

If it was a COPO it would be considered a mint barn find. You will be in it upside down when you are finished but it is still a restorable car.

Two things I've learned to never question.
People who shop at WalMart on a Saturday afternoon, and why people want to own what they own.

Im thinking of putting it on ebay with no reserve just for fun. With a 69 rs z 28 a 69 l78 and a 68 l78 being restored my plate is pretty full.
