I am up in the great white North at the Performance World Car Show in Toronto with my Son spending some quality time with the owner of the very first Nickey Continuation cars which were recently sold to a fine gentleman in Canada along with Marty and the Canada Crew.
The 69 ZL1 Camaro and 69 427 Chevelle are featured cars and the display is awesome. Both of the cars are a huge hit and I am hearing all kinds of neat stories.
Also got to meet the owner of a certain Tropical Turquoise LS6 Chevelle Convertible which Rick Nelson will be premiering at the Spring Chevy Vettefest as part of the LS6 Showcase and discussed a COPO Camaro that may be for sale with another guy who is the owner of a very unique car that is in the show.
Some really neat cars and lots of great people here!
Hang on and I'll post some pics of the display.
(Yes....when I take some time off I really DO go to other peoples car shows!) http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

(The colors are kind of messed up because I had to use MSPaint to resize them, this computer doesn't have Photoshop http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif -ian, 'bashton's son)

The guy in the picture was some happy guy that was walking by. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Actually that is Fred Cini, the owner of the two cars. Fred has some awesome cars and he knows how to have fun with them.
There are some other cool cars here too, so I'll get out and around today and take some shots.

Bashton, you beat me to this. I too was wondering around that show, and took notice of these two "Nickey" cars. I was wondering if Stefano had any knowledge about this???
THEN I see a 1973 GTO with an SD455. And I notice the award for the show that was SPONSORED by "Stefano Bimbi". So that would have put a rest to my thoughts.

Got home around 11pm last night. Had a great time, met lots of neat people and heard some incredible stories about various Canadain cars, including what one guy thinks is an original Nickey Camaro that has been buried in snow and just may be for sale. We'll see...
