1968 Chevy II Nova. The car started life as a 6 cly car. It has a Fast Times/Chicago built 396 with Aluminum Heads $8,000 spent.

The engine was built for a Camaro and it ran low 12's in street trim and pump gas from what the previous owner told me.

Trans is a fresh TH400 with a street converter. Rear is a 10 bolt posi set up to handle 500hp.

It has a full roll cage and fiberglass bucket seats.

It also has a fiberglass Stinger Hood from VFN.

Solid, Clean and Straight Cruise night/drag Car.

$18,000.00

I saw it at Vettefest. Real nice car for the money. Couldn't build it for that. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

Bart,
That bike is understated 1950-60s elagence. I like everything about it. Problem is that I have a barn full of bikes and the only one I rode last year was my '65 Vespa.

I do have a deal pending with another Member. I'll let you know what happens.

Stefano,
Thank you for the kind words regarding the bike, http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gifit is beautiful and I'm sure there's an owner out there, somewhere http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif. I understand the barn full of bikes thing and good luck with the sale of the car. You always seem to have cool stuff. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

The Nova has found a new home with the first sYc member, who had contacted me.

Thanks!

I agree it would cost a whole lot more to build a car to this level. I am to old to read between the lines, somebody got a nice car. Stefano did you sell the 1969 Camaro S/S-R/S convertible?

I am looking forward to getting this car home to Norway. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Since someone thrased the windows on our 70 Nova street racer, that took the air out of me on that car, http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif so this car will put me right back there. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burnout.gif

Stefano has been great to deal with.
