COPO Connection States "This is one of only three Stage II Yenko Camaro Z28's known to exist"
Rarest Yenko on the planet. Don't miss your chance.

A True once in a lifetime acquisition is being presented to you in the form of this incredibly rare 1981 Yenko Turbo-Z Stage II Camaro. Only three have been created, and as of today, only one can be found. This exceptional vehicle is a priceless addition to any automobile aficionado's collection.
"The 'Turbo Z' was conceived in late 1979 as the 'perfect performance car' for the eighties; quick, nimble, comfortable, roomy and surprisingly economical. We are satisfied that, dollar for dollar, you can't buy another sports car that comes close."
-Don Yenko

This is something very rare and special; A piece of automotive history. It was the very last vehicle that Don Yenko produced; number 19. This numbers matching, original Turbo-Z was also Don Yenko's personal demo car for the first 433 miles of its existence.

Along with this Stage II comes plenty of documentation, some with Don Yenko's signature. This Turbo-Z is registered with the supercar registry, COPO Connection and has won numerous awards, including the prestigious Spinner Concourse Award. Some of the paperwork accompanying this vehicle includes:
Original Buildsheet, owners manual, complete history of ownership, maintenance schedule brochure, limited warranty brochure, Yenko order forms, auto show handouts, historical files of the COPO Connection, COPO letter of authenticity and a Yenko Chevrolet letter of authenticity and much, much more.

The Chance to own a 1981 Yenko Turbo-Z Stage II Camaro is not one that will likely occur again.

Great car, Not everyone buys their cars back in a no reserve auction. I thought it sold for under the $$$$$$?

It is a past feature car and many members have been involved with the car.

It shows that Don Yenko was a true beliver, taking the time to work out the engineering issues the Big 3's Bean Counters allowed to make production (Merkur XR4ti, Mercury Capri Turbo RS, Mustang SVO Trans Am 4.9L Turbo, Buick Regal (before GN),all running the Garrett TB305).

That said, is she worth $160K? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif I think there are other 2nd Gen ('70-'71) dealer-tuned Camaros that would like to see that money before these turbo cars earn it...

Here is an ebay auction for a magzine that has an article titled "Yenko's Last Stand. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360037938048)

I have the contact info, but im not posting it on an open forum. I will PM the contact info to anyone who asks or wishes to see the car. A few members have already asked to see it and I've released contact information to them. Please refrain from posting if it's just going to be derogitory. And I am sorry to 1970bluel78, I didn't mean to come off with an attitude, I apologize.

Some more info/pictures on the car:

The car was Don Yenko's personnal demo car and there is a ton of documentation which proves the cars authenticity, some papers even has Don Yenko's signature on them.
