Need to rebuild the disc brake calipers on the 70 black L78 car...it pulls hard to the left. Tried cleaning and lubing pins, but it didn't help much...I see rust on the outside edges of the pistons...thought I would rebuild them myself and replace the hoses...any info on a good rebuild kit and correct looking hoses..???...or should I just send them out to someone..??
thanks, wilma
ps...nice weather here today...went for a cruise http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Theyre not too bad to rebuild. The Wagner kit I got through Rick's for a 69 Z wasnt even close. The # checked out at the parts store, but it was wrong.
Picked up the correct one at NAPA.

Send them to Whitepost Restorations or do them yourself, not much to um .Is one side dragging when you turn the wheel by hand ?

I sent my calipers out to Karp's Power Brake Service in Upland, CA. They not only rebuilt/resleeved them but they also will powdercoat them for you.
