I just got off the phone with a guy I met last year. He was looking for some parts and wondered if I had what he was looking for.

After talking for a while he starts talking to me about a 1970 Nova SS that he has. He said that it was owned by the owner of Whitlock Auto Supply in Illinois. It is a Super Gasser that is grey with yellow, orange and red stripes. It is all fiberglass except the tub. and floors. The frame is all Swiss cheese. It has a Dana 60 with Sommers Brothers axles, 5 gallon ATL fuel cell. Super Trick wheels. Tires are 14" wide by 32" tall on a 15" wheel. Stewart Warner guages. Snorkle hood scoop. The hood and trunk is pinned. The motor has a 6" set back, Pinto front end. The ladder bars were hand made. The door handles work and he said it has a sticker on it that says "real cars have doors."

He asked me if I would post this about the car and see if anyone has any information or pictures of it when it was raced way back then.
