What dates are these tires:
Firestone wide ovals: E-70-14 red lines
M000474L
CYLBF413386
THANKS Tom K.
Your first tire is a later produced tire made at the Whiting tire plant on 47th week of either 1974 or 84...
Your second tire is a newer world reproduction made at the McCreary tire plant on the 38th week of 1986.

Rick;
Tire M000474L is mounted on a K19 3 25 XT rim, the red dot on the tire lines up with the weight, was a spare, it came out of a 1969 nova. Could it be a 69 tire? Thanks for your help. Tom k.
That is possible Tom.
That particular Firestone plants history record is spotty at best.It first looks like it was not making tires within that year,but upon further review,sporatic reports show production as early as mid 1970.The letter L at the end of your first tires code may be an indicator for an early produced tire,but I can't confirm that.
There is no determined beginning date shown at this plant,as those files are missing.
A plants records are a helpful indicatior of when a tire was originally made.
Yours is one that didn't keep very good records.
