Way to go Tommy. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
I heard that some one up north was buying the Z28 near, or in Peoria. This is that one, right?

Im betting thats the car that was listed for sale here, but wasnt for sale unless a deal that didnt go thru didnt go thru on the Ls6. Then i guess when the ls6 finally sold this car was for sale after all,and this car sale was based on the ls6 being available which it was after the buyer on ebay backed out??Confused, yes,so am I .Im still waiting on a call back from 2 weeks ago since i told the seller i would take it at his price with a promised call that evening , maybe i missed the call . http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif. Good luck to the new owner, will be nice when finished.

Tommy,
I`m so glad the deal went in your favor and you got this amazing car. I`m also sure your Dad and Brother are smiling too....another family project soon to begin. I hope you start a restoration thread on this site so we can all watch the terrific progress. Congrats....even if you are a White Sox fan. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

If this turns out anywhere near as nice as your last one, you will have yet another great winner on your hands. However, Tom is going to be too busy this year so leave him alone! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Personally, I'd take leave it as is for a year or two. Great car to take to car shows (eg Carlisle) as is!! Then restore it if you feel the need.
Congrats! Nice car and nice docs! Never heard of that dealer.

Ditto... I think this car would draw a LOT of attention as it is - perhaps more than it would as a restored car? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gifJMHO.
Don't you have a car that NEEDS restoring?

As far as leaving the car as is...
It is a bit rougher than it looks. It needs floors and quarters. I just took out 5 gallons of "gas" from the tank that has probably been there since the late 70s. The person I bought it from removed the engine in order to have the block checked for cracks.
I may have some photos of the car before the engine was out.
