John Gunnell just wrote an article, which is in the current issue of 'Old Cars Weekly'. The article includes a Vintage Pic, in front of the Nickey New Car Showroom, which shows a couple of 1958 Police Cars. You can also make out 4 Isettas in the back ground.
You can also see the "Two" Large Nickey Neon Signs. The one in the back ground has the the Backwards "K", while the other has the traditional "K".
You can also see part of the Painted Nickey sign on the Used Car Building. I believe "sixtiesmuscle" has that very sign in his collection.
Anyway, I just never knew that Nickey Sold Isettas. With gas prices the way they are, I want a Nickey Isetta for my cruise night car and I'll run it against Clill's for Pinks at the SCR.

With gas at $4 a gallon, he's be out like ........ $30 for the trip! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

It is a shame that Steve doesn't get a chance to have some fun and really enjoy the auctions, since he is always working so hard! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Looks like that guy with him is a bad influence.

That damn thing looks small enough to put in the nose of most of our trailers and take up less space than a golf cart! Sould be fun to cruse the pits in!! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif

I've found that putting a sheet of black paper behind pages of catalogues and newsprint helps keep the print from the other side of the paper from showing through.
Neat picture though. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/headbang.gif

But then maybe you'd miss important stuff like that '54 Vette ad etc!.

Your right - When it didn't come out well the first time I put a piece of white paper behind it - Duh!
Here it is with black paper behind it - it cut out most of the print.

If my Memory is Correct.......The white building in the background above the VW Van is a Sears Store where I bought my first "Real" Tool Box filled with Tools.......Just gave the Box away a couple of years ago and it's still in use..... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif

And that Sears building is at the intersections of Irving Park Road, Milwaukee Ave, and Cicero Avenue.....hence my username "six-corners".
