289 blocks are thick walled. You can bore 125 over with no problem. Very good race blocks.

Photo of engine bay shows a small block radiator shroud and cover http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hmmm.gif heater hoses are in the correct position. Check the core support to make sure it has the large opening...pinstripes are the 1970 style as far as I have seen...sounds like a fair price if it is real.

i have the protecto plate for it, also the GM quarters are 70's. the were not making the 69's any more at that time so those were all they could get.
the radiator still has the tag on it, but not sure if it's the right 1. the tag has ( ZD ) CODE ON IT

ZD is correct code for BB man. trans. those tags are only clipped on...you should take it off "carefully" and keep it with the POP...the correct rad cover is available reproduction. Good luck.
