Originally a V8, manual trans car with factory air conditioner, power steering, drum brakes, butternut yellow, standard black interior with black power top.

Currently I have most of the interior and exterior trim. I do have all the original A/C under dash pieces. I also have the original A/C box for under the hood. It is cracked, but repairable. New windshield, have all side glasses in excellent condition. All top frame is there, but need a new header piece. I have all original wring harness including power top motor. Interior is functional at this time, but needs a complete restore. I do have the very hard to find original seat back. As well as all 4 original cocktail shakers (VERY hard to find). New radiator core support bolted in. Original gas tank is under the car.

Front end is under the car, but not completely bolted together. Good enough to pull on a trailer, but no further than that. Rear is a 10 bolt, no idea of the gear ratio. Have 2 discs for the front brakes, but no calipers.

Motor is a 32,000 mile LS1 from a 98 Vette. The Vette was an auto. If you know Vettes, the trans on this car was between the rear wheels, so I do not have a transmission. From what research I have done any 4L60E will do for this swap. Oil pan is cracked, but you need a new one anyway to clear the Camaro front end components. Alternator from the vette motor is missing. The motor is just sitting in the car right now, as you need a kit to bolt it in place. I have the computer, wiring harness, and accelerator pedal from the vette. They are all in excellent condition.

The body of the Camaro is nearly ready to paint. Some minor touch up to the trunk lid and you are ready to go. There is minor Bondo on the passenger rear fender. I have a new rear passenger quarter skin that goes with the car if you want it. The floor pan was replaced professionally and the floor was sprayed with truck bed liner coating. The entire underside of the car was coated as well. You will NEVER have to worry with rust with this car. Nor is there any rust as of now. The front sheet metal does not line up perfectly because I assumed I was going to dissemble it next for final paint. It would line up correctly, if I took more time to do so. Under hood is completely painted in a nice flat black, ready to have the motor bolted in.

The car is located at my residence in Summit, MS (39666). I am about 5 miles north of McComb, MS. You are invited to come and take a look. I am not trying to hide anything with the car. I am being as honest and straightforward as possible.

I have a clean and clear MS title in my name. NO title issues. The blue SS hood in some of the pics does not go with the car.

I am asking $15,000. Call and make me an offer.

I bought this car to restore, but I do not have the time to do it right. My loss of interest is your gain.

If you want more info, please call my cell at 601.248.8019. Email me for more pics.

Thanks
Brad

Well, I was looking for a complete 'take out' LS 1-2 engine, but my friend is pushing me towards a new one with the wiring harness. I've never considered building a protour Camaro before, so I need as much help as possible http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hmmm.gif

Thanks Jude

This is a great site. I have never ventured over here very much. I will keep the LS1 for now. I will either restore it as such or sell them together.

Thanks
BRad
