I realize this isn't your everyday musclecar - but there are a few guys on here that may find this car interesting, as I did - thanks!

This is the only replica in the world of the famous Georgia Shaker that was piloted by Hubert Platt back in the 60’s, a very high-end build using very original parts – the body is a ONE of ONE, no others exist! As the story goes, the original Georgia Shaker is now long gone, destroyed in a crash. This is the ONLY body left, the molds were destroyed. Details below....

1966 Mustang - "The Georgia Shaker"

- All fiberglass body built off original Holman Moody molds. Nose is stretched 12" and the rear is altered as well.
- Frame is 2" x 3" Boxed with tube roll cage. Car has all aluminum sheet interior as did the original.
- Solid front axle with spindle mounts. 1/4 leaf spring suspension in the front, solid mount in the rear, with original T-Bolt style traction bars, and original wheelie bars.
- Holman Moody #3 Engine: 1965 Center Oiler (standard bore), forged 427crank, LeMans rods, 13:1 compression, TRW pistons, Cam is custom HM #3 grind w/.610 lift / 330 duration on 108 lobe center. Weed burner headers, C7AE Tunnel Port Heads, Holman Moody C4HM timing cover, NASCAR-HM oil pan, motor plate, original Ford Blue. Algon Fuel Injection, the car runs on alcahol. Krag Magneto, DSR fuel pump, original Moon 3-gal gas tank.
- C6 Trans with shift kit & 10" converter (4,000 stall), B&M Rachet shifter
- Ford 9' rear w/4:30's and drum brakes - no parachute
- Hand painted lettering
- WEIGHT >> 1,700 lbs (with motor), door STILL FUNCTION

NOTE: Many of the parts came from 5 original early Ford funny cars (or gasser race cars). This car was built as a tribute to Hubert Platt with his blessing & guidance. It was built as close as you possibly get to the original "match race" Mustangs, including an original fiberglass racing seat and original cam-lock seat belt.

Asking $49,500 obo the car is located in SoCal
