At lunch I came up on this Mopar and snapped a shot on my cell phone. i asked the young fellow at the reins if it was real and he said it was. Can anyone make out the bumper sticker on the rear bumper? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hint: The twenty-something owner of this car was way too young (as in not born) when the 2 fellows on the sticker were in the lime light. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

It was obvious from my brief conversation at the light that the young fellow appreciated the significance of leaving the original sticker on the bumber. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Some even had the 'leaning tower of power' slant-6's too!.
And where's a pic of the Twister's even less seen Dodge cousin, the Demon Sizzler?.
Also remember the Ford Twisters...'70 Torino & Mustangs?.
All this Twister talk makes me wish I'd kept another of my old Racing snowmobiles...the '76 Liquid Cooled Mercury Sno-Twister!http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/headbang.gif.

I just want to know what kind of cell phone you took the picture with. I don't know that I have ever seen that kind of resolution from a cell phone pic before. I have a Motorola Razr and it will not take pics with that kind of resolution.

Yeah, I was kind of surprised by the quality too. It is one of the cheaper models as I am a meat & potatoes guy when it comes to cell phones. I even asked if they had B&W displays when i got it a year or so ago http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif . Its a Samsung low end model - I don't see a model no. externally and am too unsavvy to bring it up in my menu.
The Twister in the photo is fitted with a 318 cu. in. motor. I had forgotten this and asked him if there was a 340 under the hood. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Ah yes, but unlike the Twister, a Demon Sizzler could be had with the 340. A good friend of mine has a beautiful 72 340 4-speed Demon Sizzler; Basin Street Blue, (aka Petty Blue) white buckets, black stripes. It is an all stock unmolested unrestored original that looks like new other then the Radial T/A's. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/headbang.gif

Yeah, the good old days when we killed musclecars (Nixon was president), cut-and-ran from Vietnam (Nixon-Ford), had price controls put in place (by Nixon) and the Arabs closed the oil spigot (after Nixon supported the Israelis during the '73 war). Come to think of it, things are similar today! History does repeat itself!
By the way, we are facing the election of John McCain.
I have an idea: Bruce for President '08! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/BruceRocks.gif
