Get a hold of Tim Clift (goes by hotrodchev here) as he has done thousands of hours as a historian to Minnesota and North Star Dragways and can likely put you in touch with several of the people.

I raced from the late 70's through the mid 80's (mainly at North Star) and used to live in Spring Lake Park. We raced a multi colored Orange/Yellow 69 Dart and a green 68 Dart and then I moved onto the Perferst and Prince Pro Stock team in the early 80's. Also raced Lake Steet and Central Ave (Sun Drive In) during those times with a black 68 SS427. Welcome aboard.

P.S. .....your cap locks button is on..... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

my 69 Hurst/SC has class champion stickers in the rear windows from Minnesota Dragways. it spent most of its life in the Big Lake area.

My LS6 also has a class champion sticker from Minnesota Dragway on the quarter window. The owner lived in Canada and would travel there to race it around the mid Seventies.

Hey Robert - did you know a fellow out of Wisconsin named Don Breen? He raced a 66 Chevelle L79 for awhile. Later in '71 he had a white Formula 455 Firebird.

no doubt that most of our restored cars would be more useable and fun day 2 http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

that factory paint hugger nova is the only hugger, 69 L-78 ss nova that i'm aware of.

Would look and be killer in DAY-2!
