I went to check one out for ya this past Saturday am. Not exactly the complete desired package, but here's the details.

VIN: 13680BAL110933

TRIM:

ST = 69
TR = 770 (Saddle Custom Bench Int.)
PNT = 61 F (Burnished Brown, Parchment top)
BLD = 10B
Prod # = BFL037182

From the POP:

T0912JK (JK = 396/325hp)
69C269 (the C2 may have been CZ, not sure)
CD0924B (CD = 3.07 12 bolt posi)

The car was sold new at Reedman Chevrolet in Langhorne, PA to an auto repair garage in Reading, PA. The POP certainly looked authentic, as did the original owners manual, bag, some sort of radio brochure, and a GM instruction car about air shocks??

Now the bad, 350 installed - whereabouts of the orig engine unknown. No A/C. Painted a lighter orangy/brown color with funky pinstriping = needs repaint back to BB or HO. The bed had some patches in it. Reportedly the orginal trans & rear, interior near perfect as it had seat covers on from new. I don't believe anyone searched for a build sheet. No visible rust on the body panels, frame looked good, had the steering collar bolted to the steering shaft - SS only?? Appears to have all 4 of the original SS wheels, with snow tires still mounted on the backs, has deep SS wheel centers.

The car is located at a small dealer on route 10, very close to Maple Grove Raceway. A prospective buyer did not materialize, so it's back up for sale and was supposed to be listed on ebay yesterday with lots of pics. I've not searched for it yet, but I did take several pics myself.

I believe the price was $7,995.

Overall, a good buy for a strong car with good paper - especially if you have a low horse BB available and can spring for some HO paint!

To heck with the orange paint..Burnished Brown with a white top and SS stripe would be a cool combo on an SS Elky.

That's the one! I think it looks pretty good, I did verify that the code on the POP is actually for a 325hp car unless the 350hp engines share the same engine suffix (?).

It has potential!

That's a cool color combo.
JE was a 396/350HP w/TH400.
JK was a 396/325HP w/TH400.

I didn't want to say it, but the whitewalls do make the car!

After looking it over for an hour so this past weekend, it sorta grew on me - if I had some spare cash and space, it probably would have come home with me. I loved the original POP and other paper, could be a cool cruiser.

I noticed the -2 f/back, never saw that b4 - certainly can't help the sale! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
