listing this car for a friend here in austin.. i have seen this car & his description listed below is very accurate.. price is in his description. if interested & serious pls send me a pm or email me, [email protected]..
his description...
No hit 1969 El Camino, SS, L78, 4-Speed that was purchased from the second owner early this year.
The original owner purchased it from Iten Chevrolet, dealer #04375 in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, where he was their Service Department Manager. (must have been fun to have the service dept. at your disposal). It had 3 miles on it when purchased. It came equipped with the L78 motor, 4 speed, posi rear, SS,Gauge package, power windows, tilt wheel, power door locks, White exterior, Black vinyl bench interior. During the next several years, he added power seat, & power vent windows. He then painted the car its current color of candy apple red..
When the original owner (Steven Kovacovich) sold it May 19, 2005, it had only 12,980 miles on it. It still had its original motor. It had never been in an accident or exposed to bad weather. He added headers, but kept the original exhaust manifolds and added an MSD but kept the distributor.
Today it has 13,234 actual miles. The same candy apple paint done by Peanuts of Minneapolis is on the car & looks very nice, but show .
I will include pics with the engine pad (original) and while it was "gone through" twice, it was never altered or abused--just as a precaution.
The interior is original & close to mint. Currently has MSD ( have distributor) & headers ( have exhaust manifolds). No smog.
The car runs strong, tight & sounds just great.
NEVER ANY RUST
A nasty divorce keeps me from having ALL of the paperwork, BUT I do have the original owners packet, including the Warranty folder with it original Protect-O-Plate, owners manual, air shock card, (think they are still there),old license/registrations.
Price $49,500 OBO
