I was just checking out the news for Iowa - wow! Not good at all in some areas. We used to live in Muscatine ('93-'96) and was out there during the 1993 flooding.
Is our favorite town of Donahue staying high and dry?

Quick update. We had bad storms again last night. Main street flooded so we have more mud to deal with today.(3rd time). Not a lot of personal property damage, but it just keeps coming. Interstate 80 is closed just past Tipton by Jensen. To get to DesMoines you now have to got to Dubuque. About a 110 mile detour. I'll keep you updated. Gotta go check to creek level.

That flood is just incredible. Cedar Rapids totally under water & it hasn't even crested yet. Our thoughts & prayers are with you & your neighbors.

I heard this morning the Cedar River is 31 feet above flood stage, FNC showed water pouring through the streets of Cedar Rapids. I hope all of you can stay high and dry!
