Ok, here's the ones from today. I don't know how many cars were here, but I heard that 67 Chevy SSR's made it, so that gives you an idea. Lots of high quality cars were here, and this might be an event that some of you might be interested in for next year. There are lots of wineries in the valley and many other attractions to keep you busy.

I've been a sucker for Acadians since I saw my first ones at the US Nats in '66. I was walking the streets of Indy on Saturday night and there were two of them parked side-by-side at the Travel Lodge; one Marina Blue and the other Black. I still have that picture somewhere.

Man O Man, there's some NICE Iron at that Cruise! Love the Baby Blue 50 Chebbie, the '54 Merc, the '58 Yeoman, ALL the Canadian Bowties and Ponchos, Geez, it just goes on and on............... but this thing just grabbed me and wouldn't let go. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I went there today, great show. Weather forecasting is sure not an exact science is it? Probably a good thing as i forgot the sunblock anyways.
I'm noticing that some of the pix are real recent, like near sunset. I had already left by then to Osoyoos (nothing going on there) and back home.
Great location and great show, some really nice cars and many from far away. I noticed some of those millions of SSR's (you say only 67?) were from Arizona.

I've never seen so many SSR's, and didn't realise there was such enthusiasm for them. I'm glad it wasn't as hot as it was supposed to be either, but still I enjoyed a beer in Salty's in the afternoon.

Thanks, although I've posted things here before, I now have a better appreciation for those who post cruises on a weekly basis. I've missed most of the events I usually go to this year, and this was the first time I've been back to this one in 6 years. But it was nice to run into people I haven't seen in a while.
