RIP George...
I saw him with the local public school in 1972 in Schaumburg, Il. in a theter in the round (I don't remember the name of the theater). He kept the performance fairly clean...considering he had just released FM & AM... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think he's in hiding as a personal comedian for Elvis.

I was at Summerfest in Milwaukee in 1972 when he said the 7 words you can't say on TV. He said in a interview later he knew he was going down for it and took an alternate route off stage so he could ditch something he did not want to be arrested with. He called the words the 'Milwaukee 7'.
To those of us that grew up Catholic he was really funny - Our Lady of Great Agony??
Bye George - you were great!

Trivia question:
Who was the first guest host of NBC's Saturday Night (Later renamed to Saturday Night Live)?
That's right...George Carlin! It aired on October 11th, 1975...and I remember it well!
By the way...the cover on the Toledo Window Box album was hilarious! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif
"My name is a pain in the ass name, because it's never finished. G-E-O-R.. G-E.. O-R.. G-E.. O-R.."

..and you can never get laid.
Knock..knock..knock..
"Who's there?"
"Tito,Chico & George."
"Tell George to wait!"...http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v669/Rick_Peters/d30e6ce14556cd5dcb2d0ae3e869020f.gif
One of the funniest albums ever produced.
I remember saving up to buy it at E.J.Korvettes back in 72.
Thank You for all the laughs Mr.Carlin & may you rest in peace, you've earned it.
